Marta Manzano

Marta Manzano was born in Cádiz on July 17, 1981. She began her flamenco dance and music classes in the same city, where she obtained her degree at the Superior Conservatory of Music. She moved to Seville, where she continued her studies with daily flamenco classes, mainly with Ángel Atienza.

She studied with many of the great masters teaching in Seville: Juana Amaya, Alicia Márquez, Adela Campallo, Andrés Peña, Pastora Galván, Mercedes Ruíz, El Torombo, Pilar Ogalla and Manuel Betanzos seeking multiple forms of flamenco expression of the flamenco.

Marta began her dance career performing in Seville's tablaos and clubs with artists such as Toñi Fernández (winner of the X Flamenco Young Contest of Seville, cante division), Juan Murube, Jeromo Segura and Juan Campallo.

In 2010 she participated in parallel activities of the "XVI Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla" (Biennial of young talents) with the show De Levante at the Casino de la Exposición. Also in that same year she contributed dance to the DVD of the Cantores de Híspalis.

She continues her development outside of Spain, working with the brand Porcelanosa and performing in cities including Berlin, Glasgow, Nice, Cannes, Beirut, Rome, Venice, Treviso, Oran, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Miami, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Perpignan, Birmingham and New York. In 2016 she danced for three months at a tablao in Stuttgart, Germany.
